David DeWalt
Chairman of the Board
David DeWalt has more than 25 years of experience in growing innovative, industry-leading technology companies. He served as president, chief executive officer and director of McAfee from 2007 until its acquisition by Intel Corporation in 2011. Prior to McAfee, DeWalt held executive positions at technology companies including Oracle, EMC, Documentum, Intel, Segue Software, and Quest Software. In addition to his role at Mandiant, Mr. DeWalt serves on the board of directors at Delta Airlines, Jive Software and Polycom. In 2008, he was named one of the top five CEOs of publicly traded software companies by Institutional Investor magazine.

A recognized authority on cybersecurity, he appears regularly on nationally televised news programs, has spoken numerous times at the World Economic Forum in Davos, participated in panel discussions alongside world leaders, and served as an advisor to the National Security Agency (NSA) and the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), among others. In May, 2011 he was also appointed by President Obama to serve on the National Security Technology Advisory Council. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in computer science and electrical engineering from the University of Delaware.

Kevin Mandia is the Chief Executive Officer of Mandiant. He is widely recognized as one of the Information Security industry’s foremost experts on Incident Response and Computer Forensics. Actively involved with the Information Security industry for more than 17 years, Kevin leads at Mandiant by example, assisting attorneys, corporations, and government organizations with information security compliance, complex litigation support, computer forensics, expert testimony, network attack and penetration testing, fraud investigations, computer security incident response, and counterintelligence matters.

He is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), and has held government security clearances at Top Secret and higher levels.

Jody Gessow is the West Coast Partner and Managing Director of One Equity Partners, the private equity platform of JPMorgan Chase. OEP invests approximately $1-$2bb per year of equity capital in growth companies in the US, Europe, Asia and South America. Prior to joining OEP, Jody was a partner at Oak Hill (Robert M. Bass) with a focus on operating companies with real estate concentrations. He co-founded K.K. daVinci Japan and Signature Resorts (formerly on NASDAQ & NYSE), where he served as CEO. Prior to this, he was a partner at Trammell Crow Residential.

Roger previously served on the boards of ArcSight Corporation, Postini Corporation, Macromedia, Active Software, Pivotal Software and Corio Systems. Prior to Epiphany, Roger spent more than 20 years at KPMG Peat Marwick including serving as the firm’s deputy chairman and chief operating officer.
