Washington, D.C., March 23, 2010 – MANDIANT, the leading provider of incident response and computer forensics solutions and services, today announced it has been awarded a General Services Administration (GSA) IT Schedule 70 contract (GS-35F-0168W). The award grants government agencies direct access to MANDIANT’s incident response and computer forensics expertise, enabling MANDIANT to better serve the government IT community. The announcement was made at the GovSec and U.S. Law 2010 Conference being held at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in the District of Columbia.
“MANDIANT is proud to be awarded the GSA IT Schedule 70 contract, a multiple award schedule, allowing for choice, flexibility, ease of use, and access to the highest quality IT products, services and solutions on the market,” said MANDIANT Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Travis Reese. “Access to MANDIANT expertise on the GSA schedule reflects our ongoing commitment to protecting our nation’s government agencies and critical infrastructure and comes at a time when sustained computer network intrusions have never been more sophisticated and pervasive.”

MANDIANT consultants and engineers have completed advanced degrees from some of the most prestigious computer science universities; authored eight books on incident response and computer forensics; and hold top government security clearances and industry certifications.
