Social networks pose a number of threats to companies and government entities. We will explore how these threats manifest, how hackers use social networks to increase the effectiveness of social engineering and other attacks, and how well developed organizational policy can limit these threats.
Frank Nagle is a Senior Consultant at Mandiant with over six years experience in vulnerability management, security audits and security management. Mr. Nagle currently performs vulnerability assessment and incident response related activities for Mandiant. He is also an instructor for a number of Mandiant’s educational classes. Mr. Nagle has presented research papers at numerous conferences on topics involving automated exploitation tools, underground vulnerability markets and intellectual property protection. Mr. Nagle holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Georgetown University and a Master of Science degree in International Business Economics from City University, London. He is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and a member of the FBI Infragard Washington, DC Field Office.
