Rebrands as Firm Offers Expanded Services, Education and Software
Tools.
The information security
firm Red Cliff Consulting LLC has renamed itself MANDIANT,
reflecting a major evolution in the company’s mission
over the past year – a year that saw 150% revenue growth,
the development of free software tools, and the rapid expansion
of its advanced security services and customized education
programs.
Along with a new name comes 7,000 square feet of new office
space in the Washington, DC area – home to a MANDIANT
workforce that has doubled in the past six months.
Building on its core team
of highly-respected information security consultants, MANDIANT
has recruited skilled specialists from the military, intelligence,
law enforcement and the private sector – including Dave
Merkel, formerly with AOL, to serve as VP of Products. New
hires also include graduates with Master degrees from M.I.T.
and Carnegie Mellon University.
