MANDIANT Releases Premium Education Courses to the Public and Hires New Director of Education

Incident Response, Malware Analysis and Mobile Device Security Training offered throughout the U.S.; Dane Skagen joins MANDIANT team as Director of Education  

MANDIANT, leading providers of intelligent information security services, education and software, announced today that they are offering a series of public education courses for information security professionals in 2007. 

MANDIANT’s public education calendar includes four technical and very timely courses on incident response management, malware analysis, web application security, and wireless / mobile device security in New York, Washington D.C., and California.  Courses are either two or three days in duration and instructed with a complementary blend of lecture, exercises, labs and student participation.

The public course schedule for 2007 is:

MANDIANT also announced today that Dane Skagen has joined the company as its new Director of Education.  Mr. Skagen has more than fifteen years of training and training management experience gained through his years of service in both the commercial sector, most recently at Foundstone, and as a member of the United States Marine Corps.
